The Royal Shakespeare Company commissioned HANDS to copy the original 1932 designs of the Designer and Architect Miss E Scott, which were originally made by Gordon Russell. The Art Deco designs were originally crafted in steel, whilst the new versions are in specially coated Aluminium to save weight and add comfort.

You can try the chairs and tables when visiting the cafe terrace at the theatre, with views over the river Avon and across the town, which is open for all the general public to enjoy.
