HANDS is accredited by a number of the leading trade associations, the UK government's procurement agency and have many client recommendation statements some of which are listed below:-

The FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) is an international, non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world's forests. It was founded in 1993 in response to public concern about deforestation and demand for a trustworthy wood-labeling scheme. There are national working groups in 28 countries including the UK. FSC UK is a registered charity. It is supported by NGOs including WWF, Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth and the Woodland Trust.

BFM
The BFM (British Furniture Manufacturers) is a trade association, employers' organisation and consortia member of The Furniture, Furnishings & Interior Training Organisation (FFINTO). BFM has been representing the interests of the furniture industry for more than 50 years.
BFM has a broad based membership covering, domestic, contract, office and kitchen manufacturers as well as a number of suppliers to the industry and retailers.

BM Trada / ISO 14001 and 9001
BM Trada provides a framework for the development of an environmental management system and have awarded Hands for both 14001 and also 9001 for quality management system.

FIRA
The Furniture Industry Research Association has tested and successfully certified much of the HANDS product range for strength, stability and surface resistance.

FISP The Furniture Industry Sustainability Programme (FISP) has quickly become established as the trade's premier forum on environmental and quality matters. A membership organisation, FISP was formed following suggestions from the then Government Department of the DTI and DEFRA. With governmental furniture procurement amounting to £1.4 billion a year, furniture trade associations were asked why there was no industry body devoted to matters such as sustainability, environmental management and chain of custody, like similar organisations in other industries.


BCFA
The British Contract Furnishing Association is the leading UK Trade Association for the furniture and furnishings industry. It aims to bring together manufacturers and contract furnishers and to inform, architects, specifiers and interior designers of the wide range of products and services available.
