We offer our ranges in one or a mix of 80 beautiful veneers. Each room set is made to order and guaranteed to be from the same log, ensuring grain and colour consistencies. We also make coordinating executive chairs, boardroom chairs, meeting chairs, conference chairs, sofas, reception seating, break out seating, and executive club seating with coordinating coffee and occasional tables. We don't aspire to be the biggest, however we always believe in being the best!
Founded by William Hands, a professional cabinet and chair marker, the company has been manufacturing for over 100 years on the existing site at High Wycombe; in that time we have developed an unrivalled reputation for making high class furniture. The current head office and factory are still situated in High Wycombe on the site of his original workshop.
HANDS can boast prestigious installations of its furniture including the chairs made for the Coronation of both King George VI and also H.M Queen Elizabeth II, whilst more we designed, made and installed 150 executive desks for the very fastidious Judges within the Royal Courts of Justice, resulting in high acclaim.
Many leading worldwide companies have boardroom furniture and storage made by HANDS. These include recent contracts for Lloyds Underwriters, Ford, Volkswagen and legal practices: Mace and Jones and Manches. The designs can be contemporary or classic depending upon the specification, with no limit to the size that can be produced.
HANDS are well known for reception areas or "front of house" environments where corporate image is key. Major clients include: Aston Martin, Chelsea Building Society, Co-op Bank, Allied Irish Bank, Avis Europe, and many others.
